 Come and join us on an ADVENTure at the Peak District Yarns Studio! On this workshop, we’ll be getting in the festive spirit and you will create a very unique yarn advent calendar for you or a yarnworthy friend.

The advent calendar comprises 24 x 20g mini-skeins, plus a full 100g skein to open on Xmas day. As well as dyeing the yarn, you will create the gift bags in which to package up your advent calendar ready for opening again when December comes!

You can choose either 4-ply Merino Sock yarn, or a Merino-nylon double knit yarn for your advent.

580g of yarn are included in the price of this workshop:

• a set of 24 x 20g mini skeins
• one 100g skein of yarn

Maximum 4 participants per workshop.

This is an intermediate-level workshop, and the basics of yarn dyeing are not covered in this workshop. If you are a complete beginner, we recommend you attend the Introduction to Yarn Dyeing workshop before attending this one.

This workshop runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Teas, coffees and biscuits are provided through the day (let us know on booking of any dietary requirements)– but please bring a packed lunch with you. There may be some festive treats for you too!

Like most of our workshops, this is a great one to do with your yarnie friends. Do get in contact if you would like to arrange a private workshop for just you and your group.

The workshop is held at the Peak District Yarns Studio and Workshop, Commercial Road, Tideswell, SK17 8NU.

Skill level:  Intermediate

Materials: All materials you will use during the workshop are included.  You may wish to bring a notebook for making notes.  We recommend that you wear old clothing and shoes or bring your own pinny – we will be messing around with colour, after all! Remember to bring a packed lunch with you as this is an all-day workshop.

Age:  You have to be at least 14 years old to attend this workshop. Participants aged under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, who must also to be booked onto the workshop.

Cancellations by us:
Workshops may be cancelled the week before if there are insufficient numbers to reasonably justify going ahead.  We will contact you as soon as possible if cancellation is likely.
If we regrettably have to cancel the workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund or transfer to another workshop if feasible.  If we do cancel a workshop, we cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs you incur.

Cancellations by you:
If we can fill your space with another student then you will receive a full refund for the cost of the workshop.  If we can’t fill your space with another student, then you will be charged for the workshop.  The less notice you give us of your cancellation, the less likely it is that your space can be resold – please bear this in mind.
