Bleating Becka – DK – Natural Grey

This grey double knit (DK) Derbyshire Gritstone yarn is very local to the Peak District Yarns Studio. It is spun from the fleeces of sheep which are looked after by the lovely Rebecca (aka Bleating Becka) and live in fields just 5 miles away. Perfect for colourwork, the Derbyshire Gritstone yarn is non-superwash and has a beautiful bloom.

It’s not as soft as merino, but does soften a bit when worked. It also takes dye beautifully.

Hand wash only.  Dry flat.

100 grams. Approx 230 metres.
