Peak District Yarns is delighted to offer Bleetingbecka’s natural Jacob yarn.
The sheep live in the High Peak and are lovingly looked after by Becka. She has farming in her blood having grown up on a farm in Chinley. Becka started off with a few sheep from her mum’s flock but, after lambing for other people, she soon established her own flock!
Becka is a crafter at heart and realised how she could use her sheep’s fleece to create unique yarn. And Bleetingbecka was born!!
This naturally-coloured dark grey yarn is spun in double knit weight. Each 50g ball is approx 110m.
