Description

Sock blanks are pre-knitted pieces of squishy 4-ply yarn.  They give you a blank canvas on which to dye, and you can create amazing effects once your item is knitted from it.  This blank is a single thread of bouncy 4-ply sock yarn which is a blend of 75% South American Merino (grown on farms which are confirmed as not using mulesing techniques) and 25% Nylon for strength.  It is super-soft, and perfect for socks or shawls.  It takes the dye really well, and is machine washable on a gentle 30 degree wool cycle.
