“The Deep” was a shortlisted entry in Peak District Yarns’ 2025/26 Design-a-Skein competition, inspired by two pictures submitted of the Jellyfish tank at The Deep in Hull. Spookily, both Rebecca and Rosey submitted a very similar inspiration picture – and what a picture!! The colour in the pic were very intense, so the yarn is highly saturated with purple and plum shades with flashes of red and blue. The 100% extrafine merino boucle yarn seemed an appropriate base for the jellyfish theme. 🪼🪼

This is a Limited Edition colourway, so when it’s gone it’s gone!

Machine washable on a gentle 30 degree wool cycle.
