Description

“The Dark Jester” is a new colourway which came about from a serious cock-up in the Dye Studio! I dyed up a batch of a regular colourway to the wrong recipe – so it had to be overdyed. Little did I expect it would turn out as gorgeous as this!  Featuring muted shades of reds, blues, purples, pinks and green set off against a pale charcoal background, The Dark Jester is hand-dyed onto a super-soft 100% bluefaced leicester double knit (DK) yarn.

Note that the picture of the knitted sock is the 4-ply version of this colourway…..but the DK will knit up very similarly.

Machine washable on a gentle 30 degree wool cycle.
