Description

This grey 4-ply Derbyshire Gritstone yarn is very local to the Peak District Yarns Studio. It is spun from the fleeces of sheep which are looked after by the lovely Rebecca (aka Bleating Becka) and live in fields just 5 miles away. Perfect for colourwork, the Derbyshire Gritstone yarn is non-superwash and has a beautiful bloom.

It’s not as soft as merino, but does soften when worked. It also takes dye beautifully.

Hand wash only.  Dry flat.
