Needle felting is the art of sculpting with wool. If you have already learnt the basics of needle felting, this workshop will build on those techniques and you will learn how to create felted landscapes.
This workshop is led by Fiona Rogers from Red Pepper Artwork. All materials you need for the workshop will be provided. Just bring yourself, your enthusiasm, and perhaps a photograph of a favourite place which you can create in felt.
Age: You have to be at least 14 years old to attend this workshop. Participants aged under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, who must also to be booked onto the workshop.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner. To get the best from this workshop, you should have previously done some needle felting and have an understanding of the basic techniques.
Maximum 6 participants per workshop.
The workshop runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm and is held at the Peak District Yarns Studio and Workshop, Commercial Road, Tideswell, SK17 8NU. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or you can pop to one of the local cafes.
As always with our workshops tea, coffee and cake are provided (let us know on booking of any dietary requirements).
Cancellations by us:
Workshops may be cancelled the week before if there are insufficient numbers to reasonably justify going ahead. We will contact you as soon as possible if cancellation is likely.
If we regrettably have to cancel the workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund or transfer to another workshop if feasible. If we do cancel a workshop, we cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs you incur.
Cancellations by you:
If we can fill your spot with another student then you will receive a full refund for the cost of the workshop. If we can’t fill your spot with another student, then you will be charged for the workshop. The less notice you give us of your cancellation, the less likely it is that the ticket can be resold – please bear that in mind.
