Workshop: Needle felting - Create a Felted Cushion Cover

Needle felting is the art of ‘painting’ (or sculpting) with wool. In this one-day workshop you will learn the skills you need to create a piece of 2D felt art that will then be made into a beautiful cushion cover to brighten your home. Fiona Rogers from Red Pepper Artwork will guide you through re-creating your chosen image on recycled, dyed wool fabric using wool batts or tops.

All materials you need for the workshop will be provided – Just bring yourself, your enthusiasm, your love of crafting and a picture to work from! The workshop is a lot of fun and is suitable for beginners and those who already know how to needle felt.

Cushion pads will available to buy on the day – which means you can toss your cushion straight onto a chair when you get back! It will be £4.00 for a microfibre covered pad and £5.00 for an organic-cotton covered pad. These pads are super-squishy and hold their shape well.
