Workshop: Absolute Beginners - Needlefelting

Needle felting is the art of sculpting with wool.  Learn the core techniques involved in needle-felting and then mould and model fleece to and create a cute baby bird figure to fly home with you!  In this workshop Fiona Rogers from Red Pepper Artwork will guide you through the basics of needle felting, how to shape figures, and how to combine fleece for best effect.

All materials you need for the workshop will be provided.  Just bring yourself, your enthusiasm, and your love of our feathered friends!  The workshop is a lot of fun and is suitable for absolute beginners.

Age: You have to be at least 14 years old to attend this workshop. Participants aged under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, who must also to be booked onto the workshop.

**Covid-19 update: Because of social distancing rules, the number of participants per workshop is currently limited to four to ensure the safety of everyone. [This may change if requirements for social distancing are relaxed in future].

The workshop runs from 1pm to 4.30pm and is held at the Peak District Yarns Studio and Workshop, Commercial Road, Tideswell, SK17 8NU.

As always with our workshops tea, coffee and cake are provided (let us know on booking of any dietary requirements).

**Covid-19 update:  Anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19, or has been instructed to self-isolate, is respectfully asked not to attend the workshop. You will be able to transfer to another workshop date, or ask for a full refund.

Cancellations by us:
Workshops may be cancelled the week before if there are insufficient numbers to reasonably justify going ahead.  We will contact you as soon as possible if cancellation is likely.
If we regrettably have to cancel the workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund or transfer to another workshop if feasible.  If we do cancel a workshop, we cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs you incur.

Cancellations by you:
If we can fill your spot with another student then you will receive a full refund for the cost of the workshop.  If we can’t fill your spot with another student, then you will be charged for the workshop.  The less notice you give us of your cancellation, the less likely it is that the place can be resold – please bear that in mind.
