Description
This yak/silk/merino 4-ply blend has to be my favourite yarn to work with. The high twist nature of the yarn gives a good stitch definition and the silk content gives the final garment a perfect drape with a subtle sheen. “Pale Whaley” features shades of pink, purple, green and gold with plenty of grey from the base yarn peeping through.
(For PDY fans, you may recognise this colourway as the Whaley Welldressing colourway. This yarn looks very different to the original because it is dyed onto the grey yak base, and the tones take differently on the grey. I’m working on the recipe to get a better replication of the original Welldressing colourway).
Hand wash only, and dry flat.
